Reef Resort Vava'U - Utungake

I had an lovely stay with amazing snorkeling right from the hotel beach. The crystal clear waters were perfect for swimming and kayaking. The hotel rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and showers had great pressure and hot water. The in-room wifi was functional and the hotel facilities were excellent. The food was the highlight of my stay, with fresh, locally sourced meals prepared by talented chefs. The staff were friendly, attentive, making me feel right at home in this tranquil location.

All was good.

Located in a serene environment, this place offers amazing sea views and opportunities to see various local wildlife nearby. the rooms have well-maintained beds and well-functioning showers. the staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure you have anything you need, including freshly cooked delicious meals.

But unfortunately, like many places around here, the price might be too much for some budgets.

The location, views, and sunrises were superb. The snorkeling at the Japanese Gardens was like swimming through an aquarium. The meals prepared by the chef were fantastic. The owner and staff were helpful and attentive.

Great sunrise views and refreshing wind coming from the east. Spectacular snorkelling at a nearby location with a variety of sea life and coral. The meals were fantastic with fresh catch of the day and locally sourced vegetables.

Overpriced for almost everything, including the transfers, stay, hotel tours and food. Internet is horrible, and the remote location seems to blame.

Stunning Setting and Great Food

The location of this resort was breathtaking, with crystal clear waters and amazing snorkeling available just steps from our room. We were also able to enjoy kayaking and paddleboarding, which added another fun element to our romantic escape. The food was impressive, with a professionally trained European chef creating delicious meals that were well worth the price. And let's not forget the stunning views of the beach and ocean from our room - we woke up every morning feeling like we were in paradise.

We did find the resort to be a bit expensive for what it offered. We had to pay for a taxi to get back to town, which added to the overall cost of our trip. Additionally, we were surprised to find that there wasn't a pool on site, something we had taken for granted at other resorts we had visited. Despite these drawbacks, we still had a great time and would recommend this resort to others looking for a romantic and adventurous getaway.
